Approach: National Geographic photography (hero image test)

Third A/B on the hero-image aesthetic direction, alongside the reportage direction on the live destination pages and the tourist/travel test. This one aims explicitly at the visual language of National Geographic magazine (and GEO, and comparable serious photojournalism outlets): environmental portraiture and cultural photojournalism where the person of the destination is the subject and their world is the context around them.

The point of the test: does an explicit National Geographic frame give us local-as-subject depth without the warm-brown documentary bias (the reportage lens pulled) and without the Western-tourist bias (the tourist/travel lens pulled)?
